Dates You Need to Know
If you have leaves, shreddable documents, sinks, or you recycle, you'll want to check out this list.

If you have leaves you need to get rid of, confidential files you need to shred, or you just want to know why your water’s brown again, print this page out and stick it to the fridge next to your kid’s art project.
The township has provided a number of notable upcoming dates for residents to remember, starting at the end of the month with a free shredding/electronic recycling event—open to all Burlington County residents—from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the Robert Shinn Recycling Center, 130 Hancock Lane, Westampton.
Bring only confidential documents like bank and credit card statements, tax returns and papers with account or Social Security numbers to shred—no junk mail, magazines, circulars, catalogs, binders, computer disks or credit cards.
For recycling purposes, feel free to bring your old TVs, computers, printers, fax machines, VCR/DVD/MP3 players, cell phones and game consoles.
The township has also announced a few other dates specific to Moorestown. Check the list below and click on the attached files to find out more information.
Hydrant Flushing
From April 1 to 30, between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., the township will be flushing hydrants throughout town. According to a release from the township, the flushing is “critical to the maintenance of water quality.”
Water service shouldn’t be interrupted, but residents may notice a brief drop in pressure or volume from their faucet, as well as some discoloration. If you notice a discoloration, wait a few hours, then run cold water until the water has cleared. (Running hot water while it’s discolored will let the water enter your hot water heater, causing it to have to run longer.)
Leaf Collection
Township residents can also bring leaves to the compost facility on Creek Road (between Borton Landing and Centerton roads) between 12-4 p.m. every other Saturday beginning April 7.
