Acclaimed Doughnut Chain Opens Its First South Jersey Shop
Federal Donuts & Chicken, which has shops throughout Philly, has finally crossed the Delaware.

MARLTON, NJ — A popular Philadelphia doughnut chain has made its long-awaited South Jersey debut.
Federal Donuts & Chicken opened last week in Marlton Square, the shopping center announced. The grand opening is slated for Friday.
Founded by five hungry Philadelphians in 2011, "FedNuts" has expanded to several locations around the city. But the Marlton shop is the first on this side of the Delaware.

It was a long time coming. In spring 2023, Marlton Square began listing Federal Donuts as a future tenant, showing the chain's intentions to open a South Jersey shop.
But for more than a year, the project showed no signs of progress. And in that time, the chain the chain rebranded to "Federal Donuts & Chicken" and opened a shop in Las Vegas.

However, the South Jersey shop showed signs of life last fall, when Federal Donuts applied for water and sewer lines before a local utility board.
FedNuts serves doughnuts each day with a changing menu of hot, fresh flavors — along with fried chicken and coffee.
The Marlton shop is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily at 300 Route 73 S, Suite 130.
