Food Pantry In Moorestown Open To Public

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A reminder that a food pantry sponsored by the First Baptist Church of Moorestown will be open this coming week, organizers said.

The pantry is "open to all who are experiencing food insecurity," according to church member Beverly Allegretti.

The facility, located at 19 West Main Street, is open on Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., she said.

In addition, the third Sunday of each month — which is this Sunday for the month of September — is "Food Pantry Sunday," according to organizers.

During these events, donations of shelf-stable foods and gift cards to local supermarkets will be accepted, according to organizers.
