Here Are 7 Events Coming Up In Burlington County This Weekend

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Here's a list of upcoming events in Burlington County, courtesy of our friends at Visit South Jersey, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey.

Johnson’s Corner Farm in Medford hosts the Apple/Pumpkin Fall Festival Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. There will be live music from noon to 4 p.m., and a family-friendly corn maze all day. There are also gem mining and rubber duck races, and apple and pumpkin picking hayrides. The festival’s food tent will be set up from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. These festivities will run every weekend in September and October, with a special event on Columbus Day. The Evesham Harvest Fest is 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Main Street in Marlton, between Maple Avenue and South Locust Avenue. Look for more than 90 handcrafters and artists, new food vendors as well as old favorites, live music, and much more. Oh What a Night! Grab the family, friends, lawn chairs and your dancing shoes and set out for Historic Smithville Park in Eastampton Friday night, 7:30 p.m. for an evening with the nation’s number one tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. This fantastic show is entertaining and will have you dancing the night away! Bring snacks as there will be no food trucks on site. Gates will open at 6 p.m. There’s plenty of parking and open field seating. Rain or inclement weather will cancel. The second annual Burlington Hops & Rocks Music Festival and Beer Garden hosted by the New Jersey Brewers Association features NJ Craft Breweries from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday on the Promenade, overlooking the Delaware River and Burlington Island. Located at the end of Burlington’s Historic District, the event will feature three bands:

  • Steve Oakley Band
  • Kenny Raye Band
  • Retroglyphs

Local food vendors/trucks, as well as a Beer Garden with 8-10 New Jersey Brewers Association member breweries. Tickets are $18 online and $25 at the gate. Beer is additional, not included in ticket price. The festival is sponsored by Burlington’s own Third State Brewing and will benefit Colonial Burlington Foundation, a local non-profit organization focused on historic preservation within the city. The Alice Paul Institute’s 14th annual Paulsdale Uncorked fundraiser takes place on Saturday, 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at historic Paulsdale, 128 Hooton Road in Mount Laurel. The institute’s much-anticipated annual fine wine and food pairing fundraiser will return to an in-person event following last year’s virtual Uncorked. Guests are invited once again to come back to historic Paulsdale, the childhood home of suffragist Alice Paul, to enjoy an evening of specially curated wines and upscale cuisine. General admission tickets are available starting at $75. New this year, the institute will also offer access to a specialty lounge featuring imported wines and unique foods for VIP ticket holders. All guests will have the opportunity to further support the event through its silent auction or by entering the night’s wine pull. The Alice Paul Institute will follow all updated federal and state guidelines regarding the coronavirus. Valenzano Winery in Shamong hosts Food Truck and Wine Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Events include special wine tastings, food trucks, picnic area, contactless ordering, full-service dining and a relaxed setting in their vineyards. Visitors will be able to sample wine, purchase wine by the bottle or glass, enjoy their picnic area and order from their limited bar menu and from the food truck on site. $5 tasting fee can be purchased at winery tasting room upon arrival.
