Ice Cream, Cereal Bar Damaged In Fire To Reopen Soon In BurlCo

Swirl'in has been closed since last summer, following a fire at another eatery in its strip mall.

MARLTON, NJ — Ice cream and cereal are back on the menu in Marlton.

Swirl'in Ice Cream & Cereal Bar has been closed since July, when a fire damaged several establishments in its strip mall. But Swirl'in announced Tuesday that it's coming back "stronger than ever."

The business expects to announce a grand re-opening date soon.

"We've been working nonstop to rebuilding, and we're so close to reopening, the wait is almost over," Swirl'in said on social media. "We're coming back with more than just your favorites! Get ready for new flavors and menu items!"

Swirl'in opened last March, only a few months before the fire. The menu featured a range of customizable frozen treats, with more than a dozen cereals that could be swirled in.

Soon after, Swirl'in launched a second location, bringing the sweet treats to Staten Island.

But last summer, the Marlton shop closed indefinitely after a fire at Montesini Pizzeria and Pasta, another business in the strip mall.

Montesini has also been closed since the fire, while adjoining businesses sustained smoke damage. No one was injured.

Swirl'in is located at 221 E Greentree Rd.
