Macy's 'Small-Concept' Store Opening Soon In Burlington County
The new era of smaller Macy's stores is about to reach South Jersey, with the new location holding its grand opening this week.
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — The new era of smaller Macy's stores is about to reach South Jersey.
Macy's is bringing a "small-format" store to Centerton Square in Mount Laurel. Each location is about one-fifth the size of a Macy's full-line store, allowing the brand to diversify and expand in the ever-changing retail landscape.
The Centerton Square store will hold its grand opening on Friday.

The new Macy's is about 30,200 square feet. Bed Bath & Beyond previously occupied the space.
In 2020, Macy's debuted a small-format store in the Dallas area. Macy's ended 2023 with a dozen small-format locations, with plans to open up to 30 more by the end of next year.

Macy's, Inc. has also opened several smaller Bloomingdale's locations called Bloomie's.
Macy's Centerton Square is located at 8 Centerton Rd., Mount Laurel.
