Man Arrested After Arguing With Cops Over Loud Music

Also, police investigate the theft of $20,000 in sports memorabilia.

April 5

Arrest (disorderly conduct), 2:40 a.m. — Police arrested Brett Palmer, 51, of Maple Shade, after being called to his house on the 600 block of Princeton Avenue for a loud music complaint. Palmer argued with police and was issued a summons for a township ordinance violation, police said. He then crumpled the summons and continued arguing with police, at which point he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

April 13

Vehicle theft, 9:05 a.m. — A 2007 white Dodge Charger was stolen from Stoney Run Apartments, according to police.

Theft, 10:25 p.m. — Someone stole $20,000 worth of signed sports memorabilia, as well as a box of assorted silver coins, from a residence on the 200 block of Linwood Avenue, according to police. The victim told police the culprit may have been a family member or ex-roommate who took the items.

April 14

Theft from a motor vehicle, 9:36 a.m. — An Alpine radio head unit, an Xbox 360 and a brown Jansport book bag, containing college textbooks, was stolen from a motor vehicle parked on the 500 block of Buttonwood Avenue, police said.

April 16

Arrest (DWI), 1:23 a.m. — Police arrested Frank Hullings, 32, of Maple Shade, after he was stopped on Route 73 South, near Fifth Avenue, for speeding, according to a report. Hullings was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, speeding, driving on a suspended license, failure to install an interlock device ordered by the court, and unsafe lane change.
