Man Stole $25K In Designer Items From BurlCo Luxury Boutique: Police
He smashed through the glass door and took jewelry and designer purses, police said.
MARLTON, NJ — A Burlington County man was arrested last week after police say smashed through a luxury boutique's glass door and stole $25,000 in merchandise several weeks earlier.
A glass-break alarm went off just before midnight Oct. 21 at Second to None Consignment Boutique in Marlton. Police found that someone forced their way through the front door and stole several designer purses, wallets, bags and jewelry.
The store was closed during the incident.

Through further investigation, police identified Roberto D. Alicea, 31, of Delran, as the suspect.
Alicea was charged on a warrant Dec. 3 with third-degree counts of burglary and theft, along with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Days later, he was taken into custody at Burlington County Superior Court, where he was appearing on an unrelated matter, police said.

As part of the ongoing investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at Alicea's home, where police say they recovered additional evidence linked to the burglary. Detectives also recovered stolen merchandise from a pawn shop in Philadelphia and returned it to the victim's business.
