Moorestown 5K Postponed Due To Rainy Forecast
The Mission Voice 5K/1 Mile race had been slated for Saturday.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Mission Voice 5K/1 Mile race, originally slated for Saturday, was postponed because of this weekend's anticipated weather. The Moorestown race will now occur May 6.
The Strawbridge Lake event will maintain the same timeline and location, beginning at the corner of Haines Drive and Church Road. The public can now register online for the 5K run or 1-mile walk through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

The event benefits the Moorestown Recreation Department's Special Needs Programs.
Forecasters expect significant rainfall this weekend. The National Weather Service predicts 1-1.5 inches of rain throughout Camden County through Saturday evening. The heaviest rain will occur overnight and into Saturday, the federal agency said.
