Moorestown Announces Restricted Hours For Compost Facility

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Creek Road Compost Facility will have restricted hours beginning June 21, Moorestown officials announced. It will be open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Landscapers and residents must complete a permit at Public Works before going to the compost facility, officials said.

It will also be open every other Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. No permit will be required on Saturdays, but material will be checked at the site.

Contractors and landscapers must be able to provide the cubic yardage of the material; the company name, address and phone number; vehicle type and license plate number/ state; and name, address and phone number of the Moorestown resident you are doing the work for.

All brush and trees must be separated and free of trash. No grass, dirt, stumps, mulch, root balls, sawdust or brush over 12” in diameter will be accepted.
