Moorestown School Board Election Shows Unclear Picture
After Burlington County faced issues with its new voting machines, many results have yet to be reported as of late Tuesday night.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown entered late Tuesday night with an unclear picture in its Board of Education race.
Early-voting ballots and a large number of mail-in ballots have been tallied in races throughout Burlington County, a county spokesperson said at about 9 p.m. Tuesday. But no other results have been reported since in the Moorestown school board race as of 11:30 p.m.

Polling locations across Burlington County faced technical issues with the new voting machines, resulting in long lines and polls closing an hour later than usual.
In Moorestown, five candidates ran for three available seats on the Board of Education. Jill Fallows Macaluso, Melissa Arcaro Burns and Cheryl Makopoulos are the incumbents, while Ruchika Arora and Caitlin Berman round out the election field.

Burlington County's polls closed at 9 p.m. — one hour later than the rest of the state — due to a lawsuit from the state attorney general regarding issues with the voting machines.
