MOORESTOWN, NJ — A teen-fashion retailer plans to shutter all of its stores, including Moorestown's, according to recent bankruptcy filings from rue21.
Rue21, a mainstay in malls for several decades, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Thursday — its third bankruptcy roughly two decades. The retailer has 540 stores across the nation, including one in Moorestown Mall.
Each location plans to complete liquidation sales within the next three to six weeks, reports Bloomberg.
