"Martin's best tool is his plus raw power, which plays mostly to his pull side. His right-handed stroke features plenty of bat speed and leverage, producing high exit velocities," his scouting profile on mlb.com says. "There are concerns about his frequency and quality of contact, however, because he has a swing-happy approach and struggles against non-fastballs."

At the pro level, he'll most likely play second base or become a full-time outfielder, according to the scouting report.
