Moorestown Outdoor Concert Canceled Due To Predicted Thunderstorms
With rain expected throughout the next few days, some of the region's storms could get heavy and lead to flash flooding, forecasters say.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Moorestown's summer concert has been canceled because of Monday evening's predicted storms.
Showers and thunderstorms could enter the region Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). With rain expected throughout the next few days, some of the storms could get heavy and lead to flash flooding, according to the NWS's Mount Holly Office, which monitors most of New Jersey.
Moorestown's Summer Concerts, which feature a children's show followed by a headliner, begin at 6:30 p.m. Mondays on the Community House lawn (16 E Main St.). Here's the seasonal lineup.
