Moorestown's First Microbrewery Secures Lease, Targets Opening In Near Future
The brewery has been planned for the Community House, a 99-year-old mansion that functions as a local community center.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The planned microbrewery inside Moorestown's Community House is expected to open by the end of the year.
Community House Brewery — the future microbrewery slated to operate within Community House — has secured a longterm lease within the community center. The business would be the first microbrewery in Moorestown history.
An opening date hasn't been determined. But with the lease signed, Community House Brewery announced Saturday that it's targeting a 2025 opening.

Throughout the process, Community House Brewery has projected a late 2025 or early 2026 opening.
The business will be operated by Kings Road Brewing Company, which was founded eight years ago in Haddonfield.

Community House Brewery will be an "education-based" business, partnering with Rowan College at Burlington County to give students hands-on industry experience.

The Community House — a century-old mansion that serves as a privately owned community center — is merely acting as the brewery's host venue. The taproom will occupy the "library" — a room on the first floor that's currently used for wedding receptions and other events. Beer will be brewed in the basement area directly below.
Moorestown is a historically dry town. But recent reforms have welcomed alcohol-serving industries in limited capacities, including a liquor store and a couple restaurants with bars at Moorestown Mall.
