New Indoor Pickleball Club Coming To Moorestown Area

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — Picklers, rejoice! A new pickleball club is on its way to the Moorestown area.

ACE Pickleball Club is coming to East Gate Square, providing an indoor facility for the fast-growing sport.

With about 20 locations nationwide, ACE allows members to use their courts anytime they're open. There's no need to schedule playing time or bring a partner, since courts are divided by skill level.

It's unclear when ACE will open — Patch's efforts to contact the company and the franchise were unsuccessful. But the facility has created a webpage, and East Gate Square says it's coming soon.

A different pickleball business, PickleRage, was set to open in the shopping center. But those plans were canceled last year.

ACE will be located in a spacious facility next to Staples, according to East Gate Square's directory.

There is currently an ACE club in Voorhees.

Pickleball is the nation's fastest-growing sport, with participation rising among every age group, according to research from the Sports & Fitness Industry AssociationSports & Fitness Industry Association. The sport — which combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis — has generated a wide appeal through its accessibility and short learning curve.

East Gate Square is on Nixon Drive in Mount Laurel, near the Moorestown border.
