String of Vehicle Burglaries Tied to Philly Man: Police

CInnaminson Police say he's responsible for 13 separate vehicle burglaries in Moorestown and Cinnaminson.

A Philadelphia man was arrested last week for allegedly committing a rash of vehicle burglaries throughout Moorestown and Cinnaminson, police said. 

A Cinnaminson police officer was on patrol near Woodhaven Drive in Cinnaminson at 3:33 a.m. Friday, May 3, when he noticed a man acting suspiciously near a vehicle, according to a report. The officer stopped the man and began an investigation, during which he discovered the man was a suspect in the attempted burglary of a Cinnaminson home and had just burglarized a vehicle on Woodhaven Drive.

Police arrested the man, Nicholas Robertson, 34, of 7000 block of Edmund Street, Philadelphia, and subsequently discovered—through a joint investigation with Moorestown Police detectives—that he had committed burglaries to six vehicles in Cinnaminson and seven in Moorestown, according to the report.

Robertson is lodged in Burlington County Jail awaiting a court hearing.
