Police: 16-Year-Old Carried Fake Rifle on School Property

March 11
Burglary — A vacant house on the 600 block of Hartford Road was burglarized sometime between 11 a.m. March 2 and 7 p.m. March 11 when someone forced open the back door and stole copper pipe and a smoke detector, valued at $95, police said.
March 14
Arrest, 12:40 p.m. — Additional charges were filed against Adrean A. Sierra, 31, of the unit block of Sternlight Drive, for criminal mischief, aggravated assault on a police officer and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police. Sierra was initially arrested for driving while intoxicated on March 9 during an investigation into a report of a vehicle being driven erratically in the ShopRite parking lot on Nixon Drive. She resisted arrest, police said, resulting in a minor knee injury to an officer, and also damaged a patrol vehicle. Sierra was arrested on the additional charges on March 14 and placed in the Burlington County Jail on $27,500 bail.
Aggravated assault, 11:03 p.m. — A 29-year-old man was accosted by a group of four men on Ark Road, near the intersection with Marne Highway, police said. During the encounter, the victim was cut with a knife and taken to Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
March 15
Arrest (DWI), 12:41 a.m. — Police arrested Michael P. Casale, 46, of the 1800 block of East Westmoreland Street, Philadelphia, during a suspicious vehicle investigation on Cedar Street. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing, police said.
Arrest (shoplifting), 5:11 p.m. — Police arrested Damon B. Hemenway, 27, of the unit block of Fellows Road, Sanbornville, NH, for shoplifting $9.53 in merchandise from ShopRite on Nixon Drive, according to a report. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (theft), 8:15 p.m. — Police arrested Raymond V. Walicki, 55, of the 700 block of Burlington Avenue, Delanco, for stealing approximately $8,000 in scrap metal and equipment from Williams-Transco Co. on Pike Road, according to a report. The thefts occurred on three different nights in February and March. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
March 16
Arrest (shoplifting), 6:12 p.m. — Police arrested Colleen M. Freeling, 29, of the 5000 block of Michael Drive, Bensalem, PA, for shoplifting $447 in merchandise from Wegman’s on Centerton Road, according to a report. She was committed to Burlington County Jail on $3,500 bail.
March 17
Arrest (drug posession), 1:13 a.m. — Police arrested Gary S. Mixon Jr., 22, of the 300 block of Crystal Avenue, and a 17-year-old male township resident outside Fleetwood School on Fleetwood Avenue during a routine patrol, according to a report. They were each charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said. Mixon was served with criminal complaints pending a municipal court hearing and the juvenile was charged with juvenile delinquency and released to his mother.
Arrest (DWI), 1:34 a.m. — Police arrested Nicolas E. Zielenkievicz, 33, of the 200 block of Bittlewood Avenue, Berlin, after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 73, according to a report. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Theft — Two customers of the Coco Keys Water Park on the 900 block of Route 73 told police their iPhones—total value $750—were stolen. The first incident occurred between 4-4:30 p.m. and the second occurred between 7:45 and 8 p.m.
Criminal mischief — Police said sometime between Nov. 2011 and March 17, someone removed two copper water valves, valued at $50 each, from the outside of two residences on the unit block of Camelot Court. Approximately $100 in damage was done to the water pipes.
Credit card fraud — A resident of the unit block of Southgate Drive reported that a previously reported stolen credit card was fraudulently used to make approximately $1,300 in purchases from the Home Depot and Best Buy on Nixon Drive, police said.
March 19
Juvenile arrest, 6:58 p.m. — Police arrested a 16-year-old township boy after he was spotted carrying an imitation rifle on Larchmont School property. Juvenile delinquency complaints were filed and he was turned over to his parents, police said.
March 20
Theft — Someone stole $10,000 worth of tree service equipment from four vehicles owned by Nelson Tree Service, of Franklinville, while they were parked on the 100 block of West Park Drive, according to police. The thief broke into the vehicles, causing about $800 in damage, sometime between 3:30 p.m. March 19 and 6 a.m. March 20.
March 21
Theft — A resident of the 900 block of Country Club Parkway told police a necklace, valued at an undetermined amount, was stolen from their residence sometime between Nov. 28 and Jan. 1. No force was used to get into the residence, police said.
Theft — A tailgate, worth approximately $150, was stolen from a vehicle parked on the unit block of Lancelot Lane overnight between March 20 and 21, police said.
March 22
Arrest (DWI), 6:39 p.m. — Police arrested Janice R. Jackson, 48, of the unit block of Wade Drive, Cherry Hill, during an investigation of a motor vehicle accident on Church Road. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
