Police: Burglar Steals Jewelry from Master Bedroom

Also, police investigate another burglary and an attempted burglary.

March 30

Theft, 12:51 p.m. — Someone stole welding cable and extension cords from the back of a truck parked on the 100 block of West Oak Avenue, police said. The theft occurred sometime overnight on March 28.

March 31

Property damage, 1:37 p.m. — A resident from the 700 block of Mill Street told police their rear window was damaged sometime overnight March 30.

April 4

Burglary, 11:03 p.m. — A burglar walked into a home on the 500 block of Devon Road, through an unlocked back door, and stole jewelry from the master bedroom between 7:30-10 p.m., police said.

April 5

Theft, 1:58 p.m. — A resident from the 100 block of West Camden Avenue reported jewelry was stolen from their bedroom sometime in the last three weeks.

Burglary, 3:46 p.m. — Police said someone broke into a residence on the 200 block of Pembrook Avenue by breaking a basement door window. Nothing appeared to be missing from the home.  

April 6

Attempted burglary, 7:17 p.m. — Someone tried to break into a home on the unit block of Wagon Bridge Run sometime in the past week, police said. Two rear screens were lifted up and pry marks were found on the window sills, though the would-be burglar did not enter the residence, according to police.

Residents are urged to contact the  immediately at 856-234-8300 if they notice any suspicious activity in their neighborhood.
