Police Make Multiple Arrests for Shoplifting

Several people charged with shoplifting at the Moorestown Mall, along with other charges.

March 17

  • John Moros, 51, Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, arrested for shoplifting four men’s shirts, worth $366.50, from Lord & Taylor at the Moorestown Mall, police said.

March 18

  • Aris Burgos, 27, of West 6th Street, Chester, PA, arrested for obstruction while police were investigating a suspected shoplifting at Lord & Taylor at the Moorestown Mall. Police said two suspects were detained during the investigation and Burgos repeatedly interfered with the investigation.

  • Jeannette Orozco-Tapia, 37, of North 30th Street, Camden, arrested for shoplifting clothing valued at a total of $359.99 from Boscov’s at the Moorestown Mall. She was also charged with possession of an anti-shoplifting device (needle-nose pliers), according to police, and released on a summons.
  • A 16-year-old boy, of Princess Avenue, Camden, was arrested and charged with shoplifting $99.50 worth of clothing from at the Moorestown Mall. He was released.

March 21

  • Theresa Grassie, 24, of Meadow Drive, Mount Laurel, arrested for shoplifting and concealing jewelry, total value $140, from Macy’s at the Moorestown Mall, police said. Grassie was also charged with possession of heroin, according to police.
