Raising Cane's To Open 1st South Jersey Restaurant
Opening-day visitors will have a chance to win free Cane's for a year.

BURLINGTON, NJ — The state's first Raising Cane's restaurant opens Wednesday, marking the first of many South Jersey locations in the works.
Raising Cane's in Burlington will offer a chance to win free Cane's for a year for 20 people who visit between 7-8 a.m. Winners will be drawn at 8:30 a.m.

Founded in Louisiana, Raising Cane's has hundreds of locations around the nation. The fried chicken chain plans to open several South Jersey eateries in the coming months.
The Marlton location now has a Feb. 13 opening date, while the Cherry Hill eatery was also slated to open on a February date to be determined. Deptford's location was projected for March, a Raising Cane's spokesperson told Patch in late November.

Restaurants in Glassboro, Lawnside and Turnersville are also in development. The Glassboro and Lawnside locations are set to begin construction in mid-2024.
The chain's specialties include chicken fingers (with signature Cane's sauce), chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and sweet tea.
Raising Cane's in Burlington is located at 2329 Mount Holly Rd. The restaurant's normal hours will be 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
