School Board Chooses Lobbying Firm President For Moorestown Vacancy
Claudine Morano will fill the seat previously occupied by Jack Fairchild, the board of education said.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Claudine Morano is the Moorestown Township Public Schools Board of Education's newest member, having been chosen to fill the position that was vacated by Jack Fairchild when Fairchild resigned in April.
Morano is president of Government Affairs Counsel, a lobbying firm in Trenton, which helps individuals and nonprofit organizations navigate the intricacies of state government, law-making and regulation, according to the school board.
She has also served as a Moorestown Township Public Schools District student advocate, room parent and volunteer, the school board said.

"I was truly honored the board selected me, and I can already see the potential and impact we can have working together to implement a shared vision for the District," Morano said.
She will serve on the board of education until the school board holds its reorganizational meeting in January, according to the school board.
