These Hardware Stores Are Open On Labor Day Near Moorestown

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Whether it’s preparing for the start of a fall project or wrapping up a summer one, Labor Day weekend in Moorestown is sure to be a popular time to get some stuff done around the house.

Many home improvement and hardware stores in and around Moorestown know this, as nearly all will be open for either regular or extended hours during the end-of-summer three-day weekend.

Moorestown Hardware, 300 Mill Street in Moorestown, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Home Depot stores will be open, encouraging homeowners to take on backyard projects before temperatures start dropping.

The Atlanta-based national home improvement store chain has sales posted on its website, and offers tips on starting do-it-yourself fall projects. (Summer doesn’t actually end until Sept. 22).

The stores will be open for regular hours on Labor Day, according to OpenClosehrs.com. Locally, there is a Home Depot at 1200 Nixon Drive.

Lowe’s home improvement stores also have Labor Day savings and deals posted online. They, too, will be open for regular hours, according to TheHolidaySchedule.com. There’s a Lowe’s at 144 Route 73 in Voorhees.

Ace Hardware is among the other hardware chains staying open for Labor Day, according to TheHolidaySchedule.com. There’s an Ace at 646 Stokes Road in Medford.

Hardware stores aren’t the only ones largely staying open over Labor Day weekend. Grocery stores, with Costco among the rare exceptions, will be open on the Monday holiday, too, a breakdown from Reader’s Digest shows.
