TikTok-Famous Hot Chicken Chain Expanding To Burlington Co.
Serving Nashville hot chicken with a West Coast twist, The Red Chickz is making an aggressive push to open its first East Coast restaurants.

MARLTON, NJ — A TikTok-famous chain of hot chicken joints is spreading its wings to Burlington County.
The Red Chickz is a fast-casual chain that touts a West Coast spin on Nashville hot chicken. There are currently only six locations — five in California and one in Texas — but The Red Chickz says it has 45 locations in development, including several in New Jersey.
A Red Chickz restaurant is coming to Marlton — the first location announced for Burlington County.

The franchised eatery will be located at the Marlton Crossing shopping center. No estimate for an opening date has been released.
Founded in Los Angeles in 2018, The Red Chickz offers Nashville hot chicken at seven different spice levels, along with items such as their honey butter sandwich, french toast sandwich, tacos and cauliflower options.

The brand has garnered social media fame, with more than 1.2 million TikTok followers.
The chain has made an aggressive push for East Coast expansion, with franchise commitments in New Jersey, Connecticut and North Carolina.

In September 2024, The Red Chickz announced plans to develop restaurants in Gloucester Township, Washington Township and Mantua. At the time, it was announced as a three-unit development deal, so the precise locations hadn't been determined.
