UFO Sightings In Burlington County Among 69 In NJ In 2021

Last year, the federal government released a report saying that 143 of the 144 sightings reported​ since 2004 can't be explained.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — There continues to be no shortage of unidentified flying object sightings in New Jersey – and that includes Burlington County.

The U.S. government establishment of a new office late last year to study “unidentified aerial phenomenon,” according to NBC News. Last year, the federal government released a report saying that 143 of the 144 sightings reported since 2004 can’t be explained, according to BBC News.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there were 69 reports in New Jersey last year, with four of those coming in Burlington County.

Here are the local sightings reported in Burlington County last year:

  • Jan. 11 at 9 p.m.: a fire orange sphere was spotted in the skies over Bordentown.
  • March 31 at 3:34 a.m.: A ball of white light moved across the sky from south to north in about 3 seconds in Southampton. It was about the size of a golf ball compared to the moon.
  • April 8 at 10 p.m.: Multiple flying objects were spotted at different heights, but in the same general area in Bordentown. Some moved throughout the sky, but others seemed to stay stationary.
  • April 15 at 10:45 p.m.: A single orange, fiery triangle was spotted in Bordentown. It faded slowly, and then vanished within seconds.
