Prostitution Sting Nabs Woman From Route 10 Spa

An undercover sting by the Morris Plains Police Department involving a local spa resulted in the arrest of a 54-year-old woman for prostitution, with more arrests expected to come.

Hye O. Kim, of Fort Lee, was arrested Thursday on charges of prostitution as a result of an investigation conducted by the department's detective bureau that they say involved the VIP Spa on Route 10 eastbound.

Police said Kim committed sexual activity with another person for exchange of cash, and attempted to perform sexual activity with an undercover officer.

The arrest was made by the department Thursday at about 2 p.m. by officers following a motor vehicle stop on Littleton Road in Parsippany, police said. Police said a large amount of cash was seized in addition to the arrest.

Kim was released pending a Tuesday court appearance in Morris Plains Municipal Court.
