MORRISTOWN, NJ — Monday was the deadline to file for the upcoming general school board election in November.

Four candidates have announced their intention to run for three open Morris School District Board of Education seats, according to the Morris County Clerk.

Here's who's running to fill them and their slogans:

  • Meredith Davidson – Strong Schools
  • Elisabeth Wall – For every child
  • Alan Smith (no slogan selected)
  • Arielle Shack – Education First

Smith, Davidson and Wall are all incumbents on the Board.

New Jersey's general election will be held on Nov. 7. The three winning candidates will serve a 3-year term on the Board of Education.
