The award is meant to help college students and graduates repay student loan debt.
“Myles was my childhood friend and growing up he was always the one making sure everyone felt included and supported,” said 2025 recipient Kelsey Barry, class of 2013. “This award, helping ease the burden of student loans for his classmates, feels like the perfect reflection of who he was and how he cared for others. I'm deeply grateful to the Mislavsky/Martinez family for creating this award and for raising someone as extraordinary as Myles. Just as this award honors his spirit, I aim to honor Myles every day by being kind to others and offering a helping hand to those who need it.”
“I cannot thank the Morris Educational Foundation and the Mislavsky/Martinez family enough for selecting me as an award recipient and establishing such a generous honor in Myles' legacy,” said another, Kisha Pinnock, class of 2011. “I will make sure to pay it forward and honor his legacy through my volunteer work and legal advocacy. I have always made it a point to be there for others and to give back to my community, so to be recognized in this way is a reminder of the power of kindness, compassion, and perseverance.”
