MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — One Powerball player who bought their ticket in Morris Plains is $50,000 richer after scoring the second-tier prize on Saturday, said state lottery officials.

This lucky ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, 959 Tabor Rd., Morris Plains. The winner matched the Power Ball and four of the five white balls picked in the most recent drawing, according to the NJ Lottery.

The winning numbers for Saturday's Sept. 16 drawing were 8, 11, 19, 24, and 46. The Red Power Ball number was 5. The Power Play was 2X. All told, on Saturday, 57,910 New Jersey players took home an estimated $305,794 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $638,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held on Monday, Sept. 18, at 10:59 p.m.
