MORRISTOWN, NJ — Actor, writer, and director Jesse Eisenberg may have another title to add to his resume after stopping by a Morristown restaurant— part-time pizza chef.

The "Social Network" and "Zombieland" star came in to Millie's Old World Pizza & Meatballs recently with his family, the restaurant said.

Eisenberg was born in New York City, and grew up in East Brunswick. He said he had heard about the meatballs at Millie's, a restaurant representative said.

Eisenberg ended up getting behind the counter to mold his own Neapolitan pizza and dress it with tomato sauce and thick-shredded cheese, before standing by the oven with a long-handled pizza paddle to wait for the pie to finish cooking.

Brothers Brandon and Vince Carrabba opened Millie's at 60 South Street in 2012 with its "dueling ovens" of coal and wood pumping out pizzas, and the nearby fried meatball station serving up Grandma Millie's recipe. Millie's also has a location in Staten Island.

Eisenberg made his directorial debut with 2022's "When You Finish Saving the World," and took a hair-raising role for the upcoming movie "Sasquatch Sunset" with Riley Keough.
