'Aqua Dance' Lifts Spirits at Annual Concert

Eighth-annual dance event held April 28.

The talents of student dancers were on display on April 28, when the 8th-annual evening of dance and music, this year known as "Aqua Dance," was held at the high school.

The press release, from MHS Dance Club President Ariana Smith, is below.

The 8th Annual Evening of Dance and Music Production held at the Morristown High School Theater proved to be above and beyond stellar. Show casing diverse talent and extraordinary MHS dancers in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Indian, and Hip Hop, the show theme “Aqua Dance” was dedicated to the preservation of our NaturalvResources and ventured into facets of water & dance filmed on location at the MHS Pool.

It was an incredibly creative concept brought to life by our underwater team and photographers Allison Lott and Jessica Richardson. They captured the beauty and essence of water with human movement in our aqua settings.

Ms Stephanie Rondon lent her video techniques and helped produce an underwater video, that some referred to as an “I-Max National Geographic Style”. The audience commented on the overall professionalism the show exuded.
