Celebrate Hanukkah At Menorah Lightings On The Morristown Green
The whole community is invited to attend this year's Hanukkah Candle Lighting ceremony, scheduled for Dec. 21 on the green.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — This year, to commemorate Hanukkah, a public menorah lighting will be held on the Morristown Green, inviting all to join in the holiday celebration.
The holiday event is being hosted by Morristown Jewish Center in conjunction with Temple B'nai Or and will take place on the Morristown Green, on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
The candle lighting event will take place at 5 p.m., officials said.

All members of the community are invited to attend and participate in the festivities, which will include music, gelt, prizes and games. To keep everyone warm, event organizers will provide hot drinks and donuts for everyone to enjoy.
Other upcoming Hanukkah events include "Chanukah on the Green," which returns to Morristown at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, to mark the start of Judaism's festival of lights.

The free event will also feature the lighting of a menorah, donuts, hot drinks, holiday music, a raffle and the Great Chocolate Gelt drop.
