Construction Underway On Cauldwell Playground In Morristown

The project is expected to wrap up within a month.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Construction on Cauldwell Playground is underway, and is expected to wrap up by early November.

Some of the work includes replacing the amphitheater seat walls and field house walls, new plantings, installing a handicap-accessible ramp leading into the amphitheater, and repaving some existing walkways. Work began last week, and is expected to be completed no later than Nov. 9.

“My colleagues and I are excited to see this project come to fruition,” said Mayor Timothy Doherty. “The amphitheater at Cauldwell Playground is an important part of our local culture. We believe these improvements will make the space a more inclusive and enjoyable gathering place for Morristown’s residents and visitors.”
