Man Found Dead In Morris Co. Neighborhood, Investigation Underway

DOVER, NJ — An unresponsive man found lying on the ground in a Morris County neighborhood prompted a death investigation in Dover on Monday.

Police told residents that the body was found at 5:21 a.m. in a residential neighborhood in the area of South Morris Street and Boonton Street.

The man's identity has not been released by the police out of respect for the family's privacy, authorities said.

The police do not believe the death is suspicious and believe it was caused by "natural causes."

An investigation is being conducted in collaboration with the town detective bureau, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, the Sheriff's Office and the County Medical Examiner's Office.
