Duo Nabbed For Car Burglary, Credit Card Theft In Morris Co.: Police

Two men were arrested in connection with a vehicle burglary that occurred last year in Denville Township, police said.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — After months of investigation, police have arrested two men in connection with a vehicle burglary that occurred last year in Morris County.

Rasheen N. Yarbrough, 20, of Newark, and Nnamdi C. Atumudo, 27, of Irvington, were arrested Friday in connection with a vehicle burglary that took place last September in Denville Township.

Police say that on Sept. 3, 2024, they responded to a report of a motor vehicle burglary on Adams Drive. After the initial break-in, the suspects attempted to burglarize two additional vehicles on Adams Drive and Sunderland Road, according to authorities.

After fleeing the scene, Yarbrough and Atumudo were identified as attempting to use the victim's credit card at a business in Belleville, police said.

Both men were later identified by the Denville Detective Bureau and have since been charged with burglary, credit card theft, theft of movable property, conspiracy to commit burglary, and other related offenses.

Currently held in separate jails, both suspects have been processed, served with complaint warrants, and are scheduled to appear in Morris County Superior Court at a later date, according to Denville officials.
