Flooding Closing Roads In Morris Township

As a winter storm moves through the area, Morris County is under a hazardous weather outlook alert.

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ — Flooding due to the ongoing winter storm moving through the area is causing street closures on sections of Washington Valley Road in Morris Township.

The roadway is currently closed between Ranney Hill Road and Gaston Road, according to Morris Township police.

There is no timetable for when the road will reopen.

Rain, strong winds, cold temperatures and more potential flooding are expected throughout the day and into the evening Friday, the National Weather Service forecast said.
