Get Out: Morristown Tours, American Idols

There's plenty to do this weekend both in and beyond Morristown.

Variety is the spice of life, so they say. Variety also is the spice this week's list of weekend events brings. It's a delicious spice to be sure!

 Friday and Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. at Kinnelon High School.
Why Go: Whether you love the rides, the games or the delicious greasy food, the Kinnelon carnival, hosted by the Kinnelon High School Home and School Association, will have it all this weekend.

When/Where: Friday, 7 p.m., the Randolph Performing Arts Centre
Why Go: You want to enjoy the sounds of Morristown native, and Randolph resident Rio Clemente, also known as "The Bishop of Jazz."

When/Where: Saturday starting at 6:30 a.m. in Madison.
Why Go: You want to tour this historic area by bike in circuits of anywhere from 12 to 100 miles.

Annual 4-H Spring Train Show
When/Where: Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. at the  on Milltown Road, Bridgewater.
Why Go: Because who doesn't love trains? The 4-H will be holding its annual show with trains running along tracks all day, as well as hands-on activities and much more.

When/Where: Saturday at 5 p.m. at , 1675 Us Highway 46, Parsippany
Why Go: Um ... surf? And turf? And your ticket price benefits the preservation of historic Parsippany buildings.

Why Go: You want to cheer on the Corporal Punishers as they face Hammonton, NJ's "Boardwalk Brawlers."

Yoga in the Park
When/Where: Sunday at 9 a.m. at the parks on North Bridge Street in Bridgewater.
Why Go: To get a little bit of relaxation through the Mayors Wellness Campaign as members of the  teach about yoga.

Why Go: You want to salute the sun, and the fruits and veggies, in a lovely outdoor setting.

Why Go: You want to see this award-winning documentary about the first openly gay bishop and his journey.
Cost: Free
