Get Rid Of Old Medications In The Morristown Area This Weekend

The DEA's National Drug Takeback Day is this Saturday, and you can get rid of your old medications.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Looking to get rid of old medications? The Morris Plains and Morris Township police and the Prosecutor's office are participating in the DEA's Operation Drug Take Back Event, and will be collecting old medications.

Both prescription and over-the-counter medications will be accepted. Pills, patches and liquids can be dropped off. Needles will not be collected.

The following area locations are participating between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

The last Take Back Event in October collected 12,749 pounds of drugs across the state.
