Hammer Attack Stemmed From Road Rage Incident In Morris Co.: PD
Police say a man threatened to kill a driver and hit them with a hammer during the incident.
HARDING, NJ — A road rage incident culminated in a man attacking a driver with a hammer in Harding Township, police said.
Police say the June 22 attack started with a complaint about an erratic driver. Victor Henriques, 50, from Harding Township, approached the driver on Lake Trail West while carrying a hammer.
Police say Henriques used the hammer to hit the driver, struck the driver in the face, and dragged the driver. Henriques is also accused of threatening to kill the driver, police said.

Henriques was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. HE was taken to the Morris County Superior Court pending an appearance.
