HIV-Infected Illegal Immigrant Raped Girl In Morris For 5 Years: Report
Dover man lodged in Morris County jail on $300,000 bail with no option.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – An immigrant living in Dover and allegedly infected with the HIV virus has been arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a girl that lasted for nearly five years.
Pedro Izquierdo Herrera, a Mexican native with no U.S. citizenship living in Dover, appeared in Superior Court in Morristown Tuesday after being charged with aggravated sexual assault on a child, and is being held on $300,000 bail with no 10-percent option, nj.com reported.
The alleged crimes occurred between March 2011 and January 2016, when the girl was age 13 to nearly 18, the report said.

Herrera is also charged with child endangerment, criminal sexual contact, and “having an HIV sexually transmitted disease while committing acts of sexual penetration,” the report said.
According to the report, Herrera has admitted to having the disease and never disclosed that to the teen victim.
