MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Several people were arrested in Morris County parks in the middle of May, including for drugs, warrants, and being intoxicated. Read about those arrests, as written by Morris County Park Police, here:
-5/9: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS/WARRANT: Officers observed a County Ordinance violation at Hedden County Park in Randolph Township. An investigation led to Ernest E. Hill, age 34, of Dover, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was also found to have two warrants for failure to appear in Hopatcong and Port Republic Municipal Courts. He was turned over to the custody of the Hopatcong Police Department pending a court appearance.
-5/11: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop at Mahlon Dickerson Reservation in Jefferson Township for an equipment violation. An investigation led to Mikaela C. Quigley, age 20, of Jefferson Township, to be charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released with a court date pending.

-5/14: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop at the Tourne County Park in Denville Township. An investigation revealed Conor P. McCloskey, age 23, of Parsippany Township, to have an N.C.I.C. warrant from the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. He was turned over to their custody.
-5/16: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Morris Plains. An investigation led to Keaton C. Smith, age 29, of Morristown, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released with a court date pending.

-5/20: ARREST FOR WARRANTS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Mount Olive Township. An investigation revealed Huby J. Fedna, age 29, of Mount Olive Township, to have two warrants for failure to appear in Mountain Lakes and Denville Municipal Courts. He was transferred to the custody of the Mountain Lakes Police Department with a court appearance pending.
