The company will assess the damage done during Monday's wind storm.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — JCP&L will be conducting helicopter inspections of storm damaged power lines around northern New Jersey, starting this week.

All JCP&L bulk transmission likes will be inspected by air, starting either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. The patrols will depend on the weather, and could take up to two weeks to complete.

During that time, residents might see a low-flying helicopter; it will be blue and white with a tail registration number of N701HA.
