Jenny Craig To Close Its Doors In Morris Plains: Report
Jenny Craig has 16 locations in New Jersey, all of which will close permanently on Friday.

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — The weight-loss company Jenny Craig announced this week it will be closing its Morris Plains location, according to internal documents obtained by NBC News.
The company told workers in an email late Tuesday it would close "due to its inability to secure additional financing," according to the report.
This is a nationwide closure of all Jenny Craig locations in the United States. Jenny Craig has one location in Morris County, at 1745 Route 10 East in Morris Plains, which will be permanently closed by Friday.

The last day for salaried corporate and field employees will be May 5, according to the news outlet. According to NBC, the last day for hourly workers at the center was Tuesday.
Jenny Craig, headquartered in Carlsbad, California, operates approximately 500 company-owned and franchised locations across the United States. The Jenny Craig program provides structure and support to people who are trying to lose weight and learn how to keep it off.

Individual coaching is provided in addition to nutritional meals such as entrées, desserts and snacks.
