Photos: Jerzey Derby Brigade Roller Derby Competes for the Troops

The ladies of the Jerzey Derby Brigade, a new Roller Derby league based in Morristown, teamed up on Saturday, July 24, with players from other leagues in the region for a Roller Derby "Mash Up," featuring two games, between the Twisted Sisters and Cherrybombs, and a special halftime bout between "fresh meat" newcomers The Bettie (sic) White's and the Blue Collar Bombshells. Each "derby girl" sponsored at least one member of the U.S. military currently stationed overseas, and participants were encouraged to bring non-perishable supplies to send to the troops.
