Judges Announced For Morristown ONSTAGE Fundraiser

Ninth annual event set for Wednesday, Feb. 24.

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – A panel of talented judges is set to hear and see 16 acts vie for the crown of Morristown’s most talented.

The Morris Educational Foundation announced the four judges for Morristown ONSTAGE, set for Wednesday, Feb. 24 at the Mayo Performing Arts Center.

The judges are Eban Brown, member of The Stylistics; Morristown High School alumnus and filmmaker Ben Donnellon; Carolyn Dorfman, the founding artistic director of Carolyn Dorfman Dance; and Anthony Scareon, an arts administrator and manager at The Mayo Performing Arts Center.

The emcee for the ninth annual event will be Morristown resident and NBC’s Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood Live Tara Bernie.

First prize for two separate categories – 19 and older and 18 and younger – is $1,000 and a $500 prize for “Audience Choice” winner, which will be voted on the night of the show.

A new $250 prize named in honor of Fran Rosoff will be given in the Rosoff Rising Star Award, given to a promising contestant by the ONSTAGE committee.

The fundraiser benefits the Morris Educational Foundation. In 2015, the event raised more than $76,000.
