Kevin James Brings New Stand-Up Material To Morris County

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Calling all comedy fans: the Emmy Award-winning comedian and actor, Kevin James will be coming to the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) in Morristown as part of his brand-new tour across America.

The popular stand-up comedian will perform his show in Morristown on May 19 at 8 p.m. Tickets are anticipated to sell quickly, so fans are encouraged to reach out to the MPAC box office at (973)-539-8008 for tickets at face value.

Tickets go on sale for the May performance at the Mayo Performing Arts Center on Jan. 13 and are expected to retail between $69 and $129.

James, who began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene is most famously known for his own sitcom, "The King of Queens," which premiered in 1998, and ran for nine seasons on CBS.

"The King of Queens," in which James starred and executive produced, earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show ended in 2007, but it still airs daily across the country and around the world.

James also produced, co-wrote, and starred in the hit comedies "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 and 2," "Zookeeper," and "Here Comes The Boom." He made his feature film debut opposite Will Smith in Columbia Pictures' "Hitch," and has since appeared in several movies, including "Pixels," "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry," and "Hubie Halloween."

Following his performance in Morristown, James will perform at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank on Saturday, June 3. With one show beginning at 5 p.m., and one at 8 p.m.
