Last Week To Get Tickets For 2024 Taste Of Morristown; New Restaurants Added

Sample dinners, drinks, desserts and more for a good cause - and enter to win more than $2,000 in gift certificates to local eateries.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — It's almost time for the 20th annual Taste of Morristown, where award-winning restaurants serve up dishes and desserts — all for a good cause.

More than 35 local restaurants are participating, serving everything from contemporary fusion and American dishes to classic French and Italian cuisine. Wines from around the globe will be featured for tasting, provided by Gary's Wine & Marketplace.

And, there will be a grand raffle with proceeds going to help food-insecure neighbors.

This year's A Taste of Morristown is Monday, March 4 at the Westin Governor Morris Hotel (2 Whippany Road, Morristown), sponsored by the Rotary Club of Morristown.

A VIP Hour is set from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and tickets for the VIP admission are $125. General admission tickets are $75 per person, with the main event running from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Attendance is limited to guests 21 and older.

Also, anyone can also take part in the "Operation Hunger" grand prize raffle, whether they attend or not. All net proceeds benefiting the Morristown Rotary Club's selected charities: Interfaith Food Pantry, Table of Hope, and Nourish NJ.

Each raffle ticket costs $100, organizers said. The grand prize, valued at more than $2,000, is dinner for two at more than 20 restaurants who donated gift certificates:

There are also more than 30 other prizes, many of which are $100 certificates from restaurant partners in Morristown.

The Morristown Rotary Club, which was founded on May 1, 1922, has donated countless volunteer hours to community projects, including raising funds for 50,000 meals for seniors and others in need during the pandemic. Globally the club is involved in clean water and sanitation projects, as well as continued efforts to eradicate Polio worldwide.
