Longtime Morristown Resident, Hospital Employee Dies At 67

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Luz Mary Bedoya could always be seen smiling.

The longtime Morristown resident and Morristown Medical Center employee died recently at the age of 67.

Bedoya was born in Colombia and moved to town in 1981. She married the love of her life, Jaime, in 1982.

Bedova worked for Morristown Medical Center for many years before retiring from the dietary services department in 2011. She enjoyed retirement to the fullest, and used her free time to visit Colombia and spend time with her family, including her beloved grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jaime, two daughters, and two grandchildren.

The family gives special thanks to the staff at Morristown Medical Center’s Emergency Department for “doing everything within their power to help our family and for sharing in our pain with us.”
