MHS Hockey Gets Recognition for Feat

Members of team honored by Morristown officials on Tuesday.

They , and . But, even though the hockey team ultimately lost the State Championship earlier this year, they achieved more success than any previous MHS hockey team in the school's history.

For their efforts, Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty honored the team on Tuesday, May 22, during the Morristown Town Council meeting.

"It's great to have the support of the community," said Head Coach Bobby Jones.

"Pound for pound, you guys are the toughest athletes in sports," Dougherty said during the Certificate of Recognition ceremony.
