Minor Aircraft Issue Closes Morristown Airport Thursday Evening
The runway was closed for just over an hour Thursday evening.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A minor aircraft incident closed the runway at Morristown Municipal Airport for just over an hour Thursday evening.
The airport announced the runway closure at 6 p.m. on Thursday citing a "minor incident." Officials later told Patch a small aircraft had a landing gear issue on the runway, and needed to be moved before the runway could be reopened.
Normal operations resumed shortly before 7:30 p.m.
